I am, at heart, a conservationist. In my personal and professional life I reuse, recycle or compost everything possible. I feel one of the biggest hindrances for individuals are the limitations on items that can be recycled.
Just as it’s vital for individuals and landowners to be conservative with resources, the same applies to corporations. While I do feel there is a role for government in environmental protection, they should work with business—not against them—to develop effective approaches for conservation and protection, as well as environmentally sound approaches to meeting energy demands.
