Tax Reform

While I am willing to debate any type of tax reform, I believe tax replacement, and therefore the repeal of the 16th Amendment, is the best approach to remedying the current status of our tax system. It is time to return to reasonable taxation that spreads the responsibility, creates income and gets government out of our lives without burdening our citizens.

Taxing based on income is outdated. A National Sales Tax, commonly referred to as Fair Tax, would fully fund federal government spending at current levels, generate enough revenue to keep the promise of Social Security and Medicare, and strengthen the ability of our business to compete in the world market.
