It’s the Last Minute!
I read a lot. When I was doing radio, I read about a thousand pages a week. In the last year, I’ve read all the Diana Gabaldon Outlander books, some of the other short books she’s written, all 12 of the Poldark books by Winston Graham and lots of other reading.
I read. I always have, but this week there was a lot of reading for my Monday class. I spent time Friday night, Saturday morning, Sunday night and the wee hours of Monday morning getting the work read and notes taken on it.
Since I haven’t been in class in long time, I’m trying different methods of taking notes and dealing with books. For one class, I’m buying the books and printing the readings and the other I’m doing it all electronically. I’m taking notes in both classes, so we’ll see how it works.
My biggest fear—the writing.
I finally got the reading done, but just in the nick of time. Usually, I run into classmates ahead of class and they always ask, what did you think? I need a study group!
