On Budget Shutdowns and TSA

So here’s a little history lesson. Before we passed the 1985 Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Act, government shutdowns were rare and when they happened the government was funded until a budget was passed at current levels without having to vote on it. Money comes into the federal government every day even if the Senate isn’t doing its job and still collecting their salaries.

Getting Perspective: Broken Heart Syndrome

I’ve spent the last two and a half weeks or so, recovering from a heart attack. Ladies, pay attention to your heart. What I Learned From Charlie Kirk

Somewhere in the early days of Charlie Kirk and Turning Point, I crossed paths with him. I’m not sure if it was at the 2012 RNC Convention or at the Breakers for the David Horowitz event. I’m sorry to say, I didn’t understand what he was trying to do at the time. My life was on a different path, too.
