A Little Bit of a Break

I spent the weekend in Pelham, Georgia with students from the Georgia Rotary Scholarship Program (GRSP).  I’m a Rotarian and a trustee for the program.  I chaperoned a group of 28 students on a bus from Atlanta to Pelham. This kids were from over a dozen countries and are attending colleges (including my beloved UGA) around Georgia.  It was refreshing

The Cycle of No Sleep

At different times in my life I’ve been an insomniac.  Maybe that’s not the correct word. So I am not unable to sleep but I get into these cycles where I got to bed at a useful hour (9:30 to 11 pm) and I wake up at 2 am or so and don’t go back to sleep for a couple

And I Woke Up This Morning….Freezing

I woke up this morning to 30 degree temperatures outside and 50 degrees inside.  Thank goodness for 24 hour HVAC service. This week is supposed to be the start of Spring Break… and it technically is but I will be reviewing my midterm and reworking those problems and also doing some homework for next week, due on the 20th. I
